Abstract results for the Third ESWI Conference

We received a very high number of Abstracts and these have now been reviewed by experts in the particular topic fields. In total there are nearly 300 accepted abstracts of which approximately 10% have been selected for oral presentation. The overall standard of research was very high; programme constraints have, however, limited the number being able to go through to oral presentation. Consequently many good abstract submissions have needed to be categorised as posters which, in its own right, reinforces the very high standard of science throughout.
The graphs below demonstrate the widespread interest in the conference:

All accepted abstracts which have been selected for poster presentation will be displayed throughout the ESWI conference. There will be two formal evening poster sessions/receptions and the organizing committee believes that the poster sessions will be one of the highlights of the conference activities. The receptions will be held on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th September 2008 between 17:00hrs and 18:00hrs and will further draw delegate interest.

All accepted abstracts will be printed in the conference book, as well as in the conference proceedings which will be sent out after the conference.

All abstract submitters have been notified of the acceptance status of their abstract by email. Should you have any questions about the status of your abstract, please send us an email at: eswi2008@gcoeurope.com
